Restaurant Manager:

As an restaurant manager and key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for hiring, mentoring and maintaining an exceptional guest service team, as well as ensuring exceptional food quality from our chefs and kitchen team. You will ensure a true escape from the ordinary for our guests, from the moment they walk in our doors, to the moment they leave. Doing so will require excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team oriented attitude. As you help lead our team to success you will be rewarded with opportunities for career and leadership growth.

  • College degree preferred
  • Three years of progressive and relevant experience
  • Experience in supervising and managing staff
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L accountability experience

 

Kitchen Manager

As a kitchen manager at Tucanos Brazilian Grill, you will be responsible for guiding your team to deliver exceptional national and international cuisine to each Tucanos guest while maintaining a fun, festive and challenging work environment for your team members. Your role is absolutely essential in the delivery of the authentic Tucanos experience, in maintaining the strictest standards of food quality and safety, and in controlling both labor and food costs.  You will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and promoting a strong kitchen team, as well as for maintaining excellent relationships with outside vendors.  You will order and maintain in inventory fresh, high-quality ingredients and supplies as needed. As you apply your kitchen experience, your dynamic leadership and passion for motivating your team, and your talent to control labor and food costs, you will enjoy additional growth opportunities and recognition at Tucanos.

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations regarding food practices and handling required

  • Strong financial acumen and P&L accountability experience
